To Cynthia: Cynthia I am so sorry for your loss but you know it is her gain for she is in heaven with the BEST.....when I was 12 years of age I first met you and your family and when I first gazed upon your mother I thought then she was kin to Gladys Knight.....now not knowing Ms. Knight and no disrespect to her.....I know I knew the better of the two....your mother was and will always be a beautiful woman, inside and out....a radiant smile and demeanor....and I will always love her and remember her for that. Smile as your days come...that is what she would want... for her smile is yours. Much love to the family. Love always your sister.....Jamie Ellis

To the family of Mrs. Johnson. I am sorry that I will not be able to attend the Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Johnson. For as long as I can remember, Mrs. Johnson has been apart of my life. I have such fond memories of her and my mother (Shirley Woodson) as they were like sisters till the end. My heart is heavy right now, but knowing Mrs. Johnson, I know she want me to hold my head up and smile because she's ok. On behalf of myself, my husband Chris and my daughters we want the family to know we love you and praying for your strength. I will miss Mrs.
Johnson's smile and her sweet personality and know in my heart that she and my mother, are watching over us.
