Ples Green Obituary
Ples Green, 80, of Vallejo, passed away following a long illness, at Damaron Hospital, in Stockton, CA. He was born in Arkansas.
Ples was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked as a contractor in home construction for 45 years. Ples enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include his daughters, Pamela Pope and Gracie Crawford of Vallejo; sons, Lydell Green and Dennis Green of Vallejo; sisters, Blanche Adams of Tracy and Margie Celestine of Stockton; and brothers, Joe Green of Stockton, Oliver Green Jr. of Oakland, Isaiah Green of Lucerne, CA, Albert Green of Stockton and Abram Green of Tracy, CA.
Visitation will be held Monday, Sept. 13, 2010, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Wiggins-Knipp Funeral Home, 524 Capitol St., Vallejo, CA 94591. Services to be held Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Old Path Church of God in Christ, 500 Arkansas St., Vallejo, CA. Burial at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, Dixon, CA. Arrangements by Wiggins-Knipp Funeral Home, Vallejo, CA.
