Allen M. Hayashida, 70, passed away Friday at Vallejo Care Center due to a lengthy cancer illness.
Allen was born in Honolulu, HI, and had lived in Vallejo the past 40 years. He served in the U.S. Army and worked as an electronics mechanic at MINSY Shop No. 67 for 30 years, retiring when the base closed.
Graveside services and inurnment will take place at Nuuanu Memorial Park, Honolulu. No local service will be held.
