Lorraine Logoteta, 80, of Vallejo, passed away peacefully after a brief illness.
Lorraine was born in San Diego, CA, and lived most of her life in Vallejo. She graduated from Vallejo High School in 1947 and went to Vallejo Junior College and became a licensed beautician. She owned and operated Lorraine's Beauty Salon for over 50 years.
Lorraine was an active member of various church and local organizations, including the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Vallejo Emblem Club No. 371, Eastern Star No. 3, IORG Rainbow Girls No. 3 (PMA and AD), and the Vallejo Apache Band Boosters. Lorraine enjoyed spending time with her family and travelled to many destinations with them. She enjoyed all sports and was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Angelo, her parents, Oscar and Maudell Shell, and her sister, Marlene Coltrin.
Lorraine is survived by her brother, Ed Shell; daughters, Donna Bettencourt (John Strain), Lynne Amantite (Denny), Dian Olson (Don) and Lisa Logoteta (Frank Belardes); son, Steven Logoteta (Susie); grandchildren, Joanie Bettencourt, Roy Windom IV, Mikele Calbert, James Olson, Janice Jones, Michael Logoteta and Allyson Belardes; and her great-grandchildren, Alexis Myers, Dion, d'Sean and Jordyn Windom, Nikolas Patzer, Lindsay Olson, and Anna-Lei and Aubrie Jones.
The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the LDS Humanitarian Aid Fund, American Lung Association, or a charitable organization of your choice in her honor.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday at Twin Chapels Mortuary, 1100 Tennessee St., Vallejo. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 110 Los Santos Court, Vallejo. Burial will follow at Skyview Memorial Lawn, Vallejo.

I really love Lorraine. I use to visit with her while on my walks past her house. She is a very sweet person and I will miss seeing her. My love goes out to her family.

My Condolences to the Logoteta Family. Some of my best memories which I will pass on to the kids are Tailgating before the Niner games and the fact that she was the best cheerleader at the games!!!
