Maria Luisa Cardosa passed away into eternity on Nov. 28, 2010. Maria was born on Jan. 9, 1928 in the Azores on the island of Flores.
She had been a resident of Vallejo for nearly 45 years and was the beloved mother of
Antonio Cardoso and grandmother of Steven Cardosa.
Maria was a member of St. Vincent's parish and the Portuguese Society of the Holy Spirit (SCDES) in Vallejo. She and her family enjoyed attending the annual Portuguese festival for many years.
Maria was devoted to her family throughout her life as a wife, a mother and grandmother, and also as a care provider to her elderly mother, Filomena, and Aunt Mamie for many years.
In the last years of Maria's life as her health declined, she was often visited by family and friends, including Ana Vieira, who visited her daily. It was the care and compassion of her family that sustained Maria during this difficult time.
Maria was preceded in death by her husband, John Cardosa; and her son, Edwin Cardosa.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. I know both of you will miss her sadly but she is in a better place now.
