Husband, father, uncle and son, his love was his family. He had plenty of love for everyone. He is survived by wife, Judy; sister, Eva Liebig; children, Don, Doug and Debbie; step-children, Mark and Rene; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Born in Angwin, June 25, 1929, he lived mostly in Colorado and California. He passed away on Sept. 11, with family around him.
He served in the Air Force at the end of the Korean War as an aerial photographer and gunner (the guy in the bubble on the side of the bomber.)
He worked at the Sacramento Bee as a photographer before becoming a cement mason and Business Agent for 35 years.
He was a member of Cross and Crown Lutheran Church for 24 years. He belonged to the Elks B.P.O.E., golfed with the Sirs, and traveled with the Good Sam RV club. He loved and had many friends from golf and enjoyed being with friends at the 8 Ball in Cotati.
Services will be held at Cross and Crown Lutheran Church, 5475 Snyder Lane, Rohnert Park, on Sept. 21, at 1 p.m., with refreshments to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Altzheimers Association, Cross and Crown Memorial Fund or a .
