Akram Azima-Vaziri, 87, died peacefully at her home on Feb. 25. She was born in Iran, June 24, 1925 to Gholamali and Frangesse Azima. She earned her Doctorate in Pharmacology and worked as a Pharmacist for 25 years. She and her husband, Hassan, left Iran and moved to Napa to be near their family.
Akram loved watching her three grandchildren grow up.
She is survived by her sons, Dr. Ali Vaziri (Sally), Napa and Andre Vaziri, Scottsdale, AZ.; and grandsons, Cameron, Chris and Charlie Vaziri. She was predeceased last year by her husband of 58 years, Hassan Vaziri.
Services will be on Monday, March 4, at 2 p.m., in the Tulocay Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran School, 3521 Linda Vista Ave., Napa, CA 94558. Words of sympathy may be shared with the family on-line at www.tulocaycemetery.org.
