Jovita Quiaoit Salvador, 88, died Tuesday at her home after a short illness.
Mrs. Salvador was born in the Philippines and has lived in Vallejo for the past 35 years.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Centro Escolar University and was a retired high school teacher prior to emigrating to the U.S. in 1978.
She is survived by a daughter, Grace (Art) Dominguez, of Vallejo; sons, Sonny (Marilou) of Vallejo, Joel (Nemimar) of Vallejo, and Omar (Osell) of Suisun City; grandchildren, Jason, Sean, Roy, Krissy, Mariel, Adrien and Ashley.
Mrs. Salvador was predeceased by her husband, Potenciano Salvador, Sr. and a son, Roy Arnold. Arrangements under the direction of Colonial Chapels.
