Kenneth Clark King
Mr. Kenneth C. King, born in Berkeley and raised in Vallejo, CA, husband to his beloved deceased wife, Annie Frances King, is survived by three children: sons, Mohammed D. King, Daniel K. King; and daughter, Lisa L. Anders. He is also survived by his six grandchildren: Markessa King-Houston of Sacramento, Melinani King-Kopta of Oklahoma, Tanisha Melody King of Hawaii, Anna Monique Chelsey King of Oakland, Sophia-Viktoria Hoffman King of Denmark, and Sebastian Daniel Hoffman King, also of Denmark, as well as five great-grandchildren.
Kenneth was from the era of the lifelong dedicated worker, spending the last 45 years of his employment, before retirement, at the Mare Island Naval Shipyard in Vallejo. He represents the American "will" and "strength" to be independent, disciplined, hard-working, opinionated, charitable, resilient and resistant to views that may differ from one's own. He had an enormous love for nature from the Sierra Nevada mountains, California forests and lakes, to the Pacific. He is dearly loved by his family and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
