 Michael Christopher Carter
April 26, 1987 - June 12, 2012
Michael Christopher Carter, born April 26, 1987, departed this life June 12, at Kaiser Vallejo Medical Center, following a brief illness. Michael was preceded in death by his sister, Kimberly Carter; brother, William (Billy) Carter; grandmother, Freddye Ramsey; grandfathers, Willie Carter, Sr., and Dewitt C. Burris; and aunt, Loretta Pitts.
Michael was a wonderful son, brother, cousin and friend to all who knew him. His unexpected death has left everyone devastated and deeply saddened.
Michael leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, William and Barbara Jean Carter of Vallejo, CA.; grandmother, Imogene Burris of Vallejo, CA.; uncles, Attorney John (Cheryl) Burris of Oakland, CA., Clint (Debra) Burris of Simi Valley, CA., Rev. Dr. Ronald Burris of Vallejo, CA.; aunts, Carol (Edmund) David, Yvonne Warren and Marla Andrews of Tampa, Florida, Janet Edwards of Montgomery, Alabama, and Fay (Tony) Anderson of Richmond, CA., and a host of very close cousins and devoted friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 21, from 3 to 8 p.m., with a Quiet Hour from 7 to 8 p.m. Homegoing Services to be held Friday, June 22, 11 a.m., both at Wiggins-Knipp Funeral Home, 524 Capitol St., Vallejo, CA 94591. Arrangements by Wiggins-Knipp Funeral Home, Vallejo, CA.
