Michael Leroy Beal, 67, passed away on June 1. Born In Evansville, KY on Jan. 9, 1946, resident of American Canyon, CA. He was employed for 24 years with Bob and Duff Pest Control in Napa as a Pest Control Technician. For over 30 years Mike umpired slow pitch softball for the Cities of Benicia, Vallejo, and American Canyon. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1964-1967.
Michael is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Fischer Beal; sisters, Frances Winters of Dover, Tenn., and Valada Louise Stacey of Clarksville, Tenn., their spouses; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews residing in Kentucky and Tennessee.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Janet Rae Beal, and his parents, William Beal and Velma Artis Snow of KY., and a sister, Beverly Overfield of Robarols, KY.
Burial will be at the Sacramento Valley VA National Cemetery in Dixon, CA on June 11, at 10:30 a.m., with a Celebration of Life service and reception to follow at 260 American Canyon Road Mobile Home Park Clubhouse at 1 p.m.
