Sindee L. Guzman, 52, passed away Sunday at Northbay Medical Center in Fairfield following a long illness.
Born in San Pablo, Sindee has lived in Vallejo since 1983. She worked as an insurance agent for the past seven years. She formerly worked as a childcare provider and as an advertising/layout specialist with the Vallejo Times Herald. She enjoyed crafting, living life, spending time with her family and doing community service.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rose Arevalo.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, James; daughter, Jaclyn (Adam) Elsbernd; sons, James (Heather) Guzman II, Johnathan Guzman and Bryan Guzman; her parents, Sid and Joyce Holter, and James and Alice Guzman; sisters, Sandee Shanti and Debra Holter; brother, Sid Holter Jr.; grandchildren, Christian Eli Perez, Marianna Rose Elsbernd and Alexander James "AJ" Guzman; her beloved 18 years old dog "Jewels" and numerous friends.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., Thursday and funeral service will be held 7 p.m., Thursday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 140 Doyle Drive, Vallejo. Inurnment will be private.
