Thelma (Curry) Hubbard, 91, passed away at home, peacefully, after a long illness on March 6. She was born in Elkart, KS and moved to California in 1939.
She enjoyed a long career in bookkeeping and managing apartments. After retiring, she and her husband, Jeff, enjoyed having lunch and playing bingo at the Florence Douglas Senior Center. She was a long time member of the First Church of Religious Science in Vallejo.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jeff Hubbard, Jr., and her son, Don Stillings.
She is survived by son, Ken Stillings, York, PA; daughter, Connie (Stillings) Halstead, American Canyon; grandsons, Dan Stillings, Milton, FL. and John Corey, Vallejo; granddaughters, Amy Stillings, S. Pasadena, and Jolene Stillings, Colorado Springs, CO; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; four nieces and two nephews.
A memorial service will be held for family and friends on Friday, March 22, at 6 p.m., in the clubhouse of The Fairgrounds Mobile Estates, 2525 Flosden Road, American Canyon.
