Vincent Winnie Obituary
Vince was born in Vallejo and raised in Benicia. As a child he played youth football for the Benicia Panthers. He continued to enjoy football into his adult life. Vince was always the class clown and he loved to make people laugh. In his early teens Vince was a part of the Benicia Junior Volunteer Fire Department. Vince graduated from Benicia High School, Class of 2006; this is where he developed his passion for fast cars. After high school he attended WyoTech in Fremont, graduating with a diploma as an automotive mechanic, receiving the Presidential Achievement Award for his class. When Vince wasn't wrenching on cars, you could find him riding dirt bikes and going fishing with his dad. He loved spending time with family and friends; he was always the life of the party. Vince had the biggest smile that could just light up a room.
Vince is survived by his father, Gary Winnie (Terra Apman) of Benicia; mother, Lynn Winnie Breukelman (Jason Krane) of Concord; brother, Gary Winnie II of Pinole; sister, Krystina Winnie (Ricky Gonsales II) of Rodeo; nephew, Anthony Winnie; uncles, James Tyler of Pinole, Bryan Winnie of Idaho, Bert Bartlett of Oakland, Jay Schroeder of Auburn, Wayne Phillips, Bruce Phillips; aunts, Sara Schroeder of Auburn, Carol Bahr, Tressa Phillips; cousins, Rob and Jake Tyler, Alyssa and Scott Winnie, Mackenzie Schroeder; grandparents, Coral Tyler of Pinole, Gary and Irene Winnie of American Canyon, Howard Rodgers of Benicia, Lyle Breukelman and family of South Dakota.
Vince was a great guy with a huge heart; his passing will leave an enormous void in his families' life.

We will always remember Vince as the kid trying to make weight for football. He had the special desire to play. Vince was always friendly and polite through high school and as a worker at Raleys. Our thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family. Sorry for your loss.

i was so sadden when heard of the passing of vince.He was a very sweet caring guy and a great friend to everyone he know. We had a couple classes together in high school and he always knew how to make someone laugh when they were down. He sure will be missed.
