Charles Terrell Boney was born to Ollie Belle Bradley and Vernall Boney on Oct. 20, 1931 in Calvert, TX.
He attended school in Calvert, TX and he also attended Solano Community College in Fairfield, CA.
Charles met and married Dannie Mae Turner on April 1, 1954. They were married for 50 years.
Charles was a
Vietnam Veteran. He served in the
for two years and retired from the Air Force after 20 years.
Charles became a Master Mason on Nov. 18, 1977 until present day.
Charles worked on Mare Island Naval Shipyard as a Rigger until he retired on Feb. 26, 1981.
He was a member of Good Samaritan Baptist Church where he served on the usher board for many years until his health failed him.
Charles married Debra Meyers Ward in 2005. They were married for eight years.
Preceding him in death is his wife, Dannie Mae Boney; mother, Ollie Belle Bradley; father, Vernall Boney; sister, Johnie McKnight; granddaughter, Angela Belcher and great granddaughter, Baby Lily.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Debra Boney; daughters, Janice Belcher and Mary Harris-Wood; step-daughters, Adriana and Candice Ward and Natasha Griffith; sisters, Ether Williams of Amarillo, TX, Ann Boney of Bryan, TX, Hattie Boney of Dallas, TX; brother, Jackie Boney of Midland, TX; uncle, James Brooks of Galveston, TX; step-mother, Willie Mae Thomas of Houston, TX; a host of relatives and friends in the state of Texas; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 8, from 3 to 8 p.m., at Wiggins-Knipp Funeral Home, 524 Capitol St., Vallejo. Services will be held Saturday, March 9, at 11 a.m., at Tabernacle of David, 1100 Lincoln Road East, Vallejo.
Arrangements under the direction and care of Wiggins-Knipp Funeral Home, Vallejo, CA.
