Lenora Rita Traylor, 90, passed away Tuesday at Kaiser Hospital in Vallejo surrounded by her family.
Lenora was born to Antonio and Clara Azevedo on Nov. 28, 1922 in Stockton, CA and has lived in Vallejo the past 60 years. She and her family were the longtime owners/operators of Vallejo Stationers. She was a member of YLI, Red Hats, Italian Club, SPRSI, St. Basil's Altar Society, BPOE #559 Ladies Auxiliary, and active in the Soap Box Derby. She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, Facebook, jigsaw puzzles, traveling, watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, cooking and spending time with her family.
Lenora was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Traylor on Jan. 14, 2001 and their daughter, Marguerite Claire Traylor on Aug. 13, 1962.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara (John) Foulk, Nini (Mike) Keelen and Teresa (Tommy) Quento; sons, Kevin (Norma), John, and Frank (Dawn) Traylor; sister, Catherine (Herm) Spalinger; brother, Raymond (Ann) Azevedo; grandchildren, Wendy, Kelly, Melyssa, Justin, Jason, Evan, Nicholas, Nori, Lupita, Claire, Anthony, Jennifer, Jacque, Amanda, Gina, Vincent and Pokey; and great-grandchildren, Presley, Ezra, Olivia, Anthony, Destiny and Alexia.
Visitation will be held 2 to 9 p.m., Thursday with the Rosary at 7 p.m., at Twin Chapels Mortuary, 1100 Tennessee St., Vallejo. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11 a.m., Friday, at St. Vincent's Catholic Church, 925 Sacramento St., Vallejo. Burial will follow at All Souls Catholic Cemetery, 550 Glen Cove Rd., Vallejo.
