April 22, 1936 - June 26, 2013
Earnestean, 77, passed away peacefully at her home Wednesday, June 26, due to dementia, surrounded by her family. She was born in Palestine, Arkansas, April 22, 1936 and after, relocated to California, she later met and married her husband, James Wallace in 1953. Over 60 Years being as one.
Earnestean worked at Fairchild, San Rafael, Concord Naval Weapon Station, Concord, CA and retired from Mare Island Naval Shipyard in 1996. She also worked part time for Century 21 Davis and Associates.
Earnestean is survived by her husband, James; children, Rickey Wallace, Valerie Polk, Joyce Howard, Robin Wallace, and Terence Wallace, all of Vallejo; nine grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
A viewing will be Tuesday, July 2, from 3 to 8 p.m., at Wiggins-Knipp Funeral Home, 524 Capitol St., Vallejo.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 3, at 11 a.m., at the Tabernacle of David Missionary Baptist Church, 1100 Lincoln Road East, Vallejo, with Pastor Robert L. McCray officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of Wiggins-Knipp Funeral Home.
