Aug. 25, 1946 - April 23, 2014

Thomas C. Ketchum, 67, of Benicia, passed away at home after a long illness on Wednesday, April 23. Thomas was born in Porterville, CA. He worked at Valero Energy Corp. for 35 years until he retired in 2004. Thomas was a veteran of the United States Air Force; he served four years. He was an avid supporter of "Ducks Unlimited." Thomas enjoyed camping, hunting, and "pictching washers."

He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Marcella Ketchum, and grandparents, Charles and Pearl Ketchum and Homer and Sarah Hunt.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 48½years, Juanita Malee Ketchum of Benicia; daughter, Karen D. Ketchum of Benicia; son, Charles E. Ketchum of Benicia; brother, Steve Ketchum of Vallejo; and two grandsons, Nate Brown and Austin Ketchum.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3, at 2 p.m., at Skyview Memorial Chapel, 200 Rollingwood Drive in Vallejo, officiated by Rev. Dr. Linda L. Clader, Ph.D.
