Albert J. Graziano, 82, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at Little Flower Manor, Wilkes-Barre.
He was born in Wilkes-Barre, Aug. 21, 1930, a son of the late Pasquale and Maria DeRocco Graziano. Albert was an Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was formerly employed by The Sunday Independent newspaper. Albert was a member of Our Lady of Hope Parish, Wilkes-Barre, and he was formerly a member of Holy Rosary Church, Wilkes-Barre. He was a member of the Italian American Veterans and the Sons of Italy. Albert was an avid sports fan and loved gardening.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, James, Anthony, Angelo, Carl, Pasquale, Joseph; and by sisters, Marie, Nicolette, Josephine and Elizabeth.
Surviving are wife of 57 years, Carolyn E. Procida; numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9 a.m. from the Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, 89 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Hope Parish, 40 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Little Flower Manor, 200 S. Meade St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702. Online condolences may be sent by visiting Albert's obituary at www.natandgawlasfuneralhome.com.

Dear Aunt Carol, We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Al. I am very sick and cannot attend, but our hearts are with you there. We always had some great times at the picnics my parents had in their back yard on Hill Street. We love you very much and are thinking about you. God Bless You.
