James Kulick, 86, Dallas, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 7, 2012 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Edwardsville, he was the son of the late Joseph and Anna Dradlick Kulick. James was a World War II veteran. He loved gardening and was an avid hunter and fisherman who taught many how to succeed in the outdoors and will be deeply missed by all.
Jim leaves behind a loving and devoted wife, Helen Hanusin Kulick, after 60 years of marriage. In addition to his wife, surviving are his son, David, and his wife, Yelena Kulick, Gaithersburg, Maryland; daughters, Sheila and her husband, Mark Nicholson, Harveys Lake; Renee and her husband, Rick Carle, Cape Coral, Fla.; also two beloved grandchildren, Nicole and David James Kulick; brother, Donald Kulick, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Wednesday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, followed by a dinner at the Knights of Columbus, 59 Parry Street, Luzerne. All are invited to attend.
In keeping with James's wishes, funeral services will be private. Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 600 Baltimore Drive, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702. James's family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of the Sacred Heart for all their support while taking care of him.

Helen, David & Family; Renee & Rick; Sheila & Mark: Jim was a true Pennsylvania man loving his country, family and the outdoors. We are fortunate to have met him on our visits to Dallas & Harveys Lake.
