Justin D. Hossage, age 20, of Sweet Valley, peacefully entered Heaven to be with his Savior on Thursday, October 4, 2012 after a courageous fight with the injuries received in a horrific vehicle accident in July.
Mr. Hossage was born on November 30, 1991, in Camp LeJune, N.C., at the Naval Hospital and was the youngest son of Pastor David and Michele E. Nealon Hossage, with whom he resided.
Justin was a 2009 graduate of Lake-Lehman High School, and was employed by Safety Kleen, located in the Hanover Industrial Park. He was previously employed by the Back Woods Boys, where he enjoyed serving the community and working in the Pennsylvania outdoors. Justin attended Bloomingdale Bible Church where he was the standing champion of the Bible Drills held by the Youth Group.
He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather, Donald Francis Nealon and his Paternal Grandfather, Joseph A. Hossage.
In addition to his parents, Justin is survived by a brother, David Hossage and his wife, Michelle, of Warrior Run; sisters, Elly Rose Hossage and Catherine Ann Hossage, both at home; maternal grandmother, Mildred Nealon, of Ashley; paternal grandmother, Eileen Hossage, of Hanover Green.
The family would like to thank everyone who prayed for and supported Justin and his family during this trying time of their lives. They would also like to thank the hospital staff of Geisinger Health System, Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital and the caring doctors and nurses of the Celtic Hospice Care Unit, located in the Geisinger South facility. Justin's medical journey began and ended in the hands of caring people who gave as much love and nurturing support as can be shared in a human crisis.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. from the Bloomingdale Bible Church, 238 Silo Road, Ross Township, with Justin's father, Pastor David Hossage officiating. Friends may call Sunday from 2 until 6 p.m. at the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home Inc., corners of Routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek. Interment will be in the Oakdale Cemetery, Hunlock Creek.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to Help Hoss Heal Foundations, First National Bank, 120 Highland Park Blvd. Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702. Online condolences can be sent to www.clswansonfuneralhome.com.

Justin was a great and unique person. You don't find many people like him now, willing to help anyone in need at a moments notice. This was a great loss for everyone who knew him. We will keep him alive in every wonderful memory we each have of him.
