Barbara Cembrock, 75, of Hanover Township, passed away on Saturday at the Wilkes Barre General Hospital.
Born Dec. 23, 1937, in Nanticoke, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Anna Lottrick Puchalski.
She was a graduate of Hanover High School, Class of 1956, and a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church of Plymouth.
Throughout her life, Barbara cherished her family and the time she spent with family and friends. She greatly enjoyed going to the casino.
She was always there to listen and help others. She will forever be known for her kind and loving heart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Frank E. Cembrock.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Frank E. Cembrock; daughter, Deborah Bath, of Hanover Township; son, Mark Cembrock, of Dallas; grandsons, Robert Jr. and Eric Bath; sisters-in-law; aunt; cousins; nieces; nephews; and many good friends.
Barbara's family would like to especially thank the ICU nurses at the Wilkes Barre General Hospital for their care and compassion.
Funeral will be held at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at the S.J.Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth, followed by Divine Liturgy at 11:30 a.m. in Ss.. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Plymouth. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Parastas service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Volodymyr Popyk officiating. Please visit www.sjgrontkowskifuneralhome.com for directions or to submit online condolences to Barbara's family.

I am so sorry to hear of Barbra's passing. She was the sweetest and most thoughtful person... I always looked forward to seeing her sweet smiling face.
