Cordaro, Peter C.* - West Wyoming  
WEST WYOMING — Peter C. Cordaro, 90, of West Wyoming, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. Born in West Wyoming, he was a son of the late Charles and Felicia Orlando Cordaro. A devout Catholic, Mr. Cordaro was a member of St. Monica (Our Lady of Sorrows) Parish, 8th Street, West Wyoming. He was graduate of West Wyoming High School, class of 1941, and completed the engineering drafting program at Penn State University. He worked for Bendix Corp. in New Jersey, during the war. He was employed for 28 years at the United Foundry, Wyoming, and Singer Corp in New Jersey. He owned and operated a television and radio repair business and later worked at Chacko's Bowling Lanes. He was a Forth Degree Life Member Knight of Columbus, belonged to the West Wyoming Milochesi Society, was a championship bowler, an accomplished ballroom dancer and an enthusiastic Big Band listener and collector. He honored Saint Joseph every feast day, with a homemade alter in his home. He loved and was beloved by family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Agnes Saxon Cordaro, in 2006; his beloved son, David, in 1981; and a brother, Joseph Cordora, in 1987. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Joan Cordora, North Wales; and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. in St. Monica Parish, in Our Lady of Sorrows Church, West Wyoming, with the Rev. Leo McKernan, pastor, as celebrant.
