Kauffman III, Ralph E.* - Hanover Township  
HANOVER TWP. — Ralph E. Kauffman III, 75, of Hanover Township, passed away Thursday evening, April 23, 2015, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born in Wilkes-Barre on Nov. 2, 1939, he was a son of the late Ralph and Helen (Quinn) Kauffman. He was a 1958 graduate of GAR High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves. For more than 40 years, Ralph was employed by Diamond Vending, a division of Coca-Cola, where he retired as a general manager. He was a member of Wyoming Valley Presbyterian Church and the former Westminster Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the Corvette Club of NEPA. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 0061 F & AM and Irem Temple A.A.O.N.M.S., where he was a member of the former classic car unit. Ralph is survived by his wife of 52 years, the former Tanya Zadvorny; his son, Ralph Kauffman IV, San Jose, California; daughters, Kim Williams and her husband, Jack, Easton, and Karen Snyder and her husband, Gene, Mountain Top; grandchildren, Melanie and Matthew Snyder and Shane Kauffman; a brother, Thomas Kauffman and his wife, Frances, Old Bridge, New Jersey; and sister, Christa Wolak, Nazareth; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, 465 S. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, with the Rev. Harold Armstrong officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. A masonic service will be held at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ralph's memory may be made to Wyoming Valley Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, 2 Lockhart St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702. Kondrosky, Elizabeth M.* - Pittston  
PITTSTON — Elizabeth M. Kondrosky, 73, of Pittston, passed away, unexpectedly, on Friday, April 17, 2015. Born in Pittston, she was a daughter of the late David and Margaret Gallagher Olmstead. She was a homemaker most of her life, raising her children. She was preceded in death by her brothers, David, Paul and Joseph Olmstead. Surviving are her children, Donald and his wife, Jean, Shickshinny, Joann and her husband, John Barbacci, Noxen, Michael, North Carolina, John, Pittston, Richard, Avoca, James, Maryland, Joseph, Pittston, and Thomas and his wife, Christine, Scranton; grandchildren, Amber and her fiancé, Nick, Ryan, Kristen, Jillian, Brandon, Rachel and Lillian; also brothers, Orin Olmstead, Pittston, Frank Olmstead, Harding; and sisters, Margaret Alba, Pittston, and Elaine Tonkin, Wilkes-Barre; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter. BLAKESLEE — Richard P. Kovitch, 86, of Blakeslee, passed away April 19, 2015, at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. His wife, the former Mary Ottinger, passed away on March 4, 2002. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Corcoran Funeral Home Inc., 20 S. Main St., Plains Township. Friends and family may call from 9 a.m. until the time of the services.

Krupa, Janice E.* - Nanticoke  
NANTICOKE — Janice E. Krupa, 70, of East Main Street, Nanticoke, passed away April 21, 2015, at General Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. She was born in Kingston, Feb. 9, 1945, a daughter of Beulah Niezgoda and the late Joseph Niezgoda, and was a member of St. Faustina Parish Church, Nanticoke. Janice was a graduate of Lake-Lehman High School, class of 1963, attended Misericordia University and received an Associate Degree in business at Wilkes-Barre Business College. She then went on to accept the position of a business assistant at West Side Vo-Tech School. Janice was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Niezgoda. Presently surviving, in addition to her mother, are son, Todd Krupa, Lewisville, North Carolina; daughter, Tracy Biehl, Nanticoke; two grandchildren, Mandy and Brooklyn; brother, Albert Niezgoda, Dover, Delaware; two nephews; and one niece Funeral services will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday from the Grontkowski Funeral Home P.C., 51-53 W. Green St., Nanticoke, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Faustina Parish Church, Primary Site, Nanticoke. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Nanticoke. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family for calling hours that will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. At request of the family, in lieu of flowers, donations are to be made to Newport Township Biddy Basketball in Janice's name.
