Krznaric, Ann* - Annandale  
ANNANDALE, Va. — Ann Krznaric, 91, formerly of Kingston, passed away Thursday afternoon, April 28, 2016, at home in Annandale, with her daughters by her side. Born Sept. 9, 1924, in Luzerne, Ann was the daughter of the late Mary and Frank Guchanas. She attended Sacred Heart School and Luzerne High School, before marrying the love of her life, the late Paul Krznaric. They resided on Price Street in Kingston for 48 years before moving to Northern Virginia to be near their children. Ann spent most of her adult life working as a waitress at Gus Genetti's Hotel and Tony Perugino's, Wilkes-Barre. She was a member of Holy Family Parish and of the former Sacred Heart Church, both in Luzerne. Ann will be remembered for many things but most especially for her faith in God, her heart of gold and her loving devotion to her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband for 66 years, Paul; her sister, Mary Witt; her brother, Frank Guchanas; her son-in-law, Richard McSpadden; her grandson, Franklin McSpadden. She is survived by her three children, Paul (Jeanne), Fort Meyers, Florida, Anne Marie Kearney (Ed), McLean, Virginia, Toni McSpadden, Annandale; seven grandchildren, Kelly and Eric Krznaric, Brian, Carolyn (Stone) and Brendan Kearney, Janie (Rutherford) and Thomas McSpadden; 11 great-grandchildren; her sister, Lillian Thomas, Kingston; and Olivia Parker and Andrea DeVito, who helped care for her the past few years. Friends may call 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, 568 Bennett St., Luzerne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday in Holy Family Church. Father Kevin Nadolski, OSFS, a dear friend of the family, will be celebrating. Interment will be in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Pringle. Kwiatkowski, Walter* - Larksville  
LARKSVILLE — Walter Kwiatkowski, 86, of Larksville, died Saturday, April 30, 2016, at home surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Walter (May 1970) and Mary (December 1994) (Budzinski) Kwiatkowski. He was born and grew up in Plains Township, and attended Plains High School. He served in the U.S. Army as a Private 1st Class from March 1951 to March 1953, and was stationed in Newfoundland, Canada. Walter first worked for Hess and Goldsmith, and was later employed at Eberhard Faber for 27 years and retired in 1992. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Larksville. He enjoyed yard work and spending time with his family. Mr. Kwiatkowski was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Elizabeth Kwiatkowski (January 2015); son, Kenneth Kwiatkowski (July 2012); and brother, Peter Kwiatkowski (May 1990). He is survived by his son, Walter Kwiatkowski and wife, Jane; grandchildren, Angela, Sarah and Timothy; great-grandchild, Lacie Jinks; niece, Janice Dubroski; and nephew, Michael Kittrick. Funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday from the Kopicki Funeral Home, 263 Zerbey Ave., Kingston, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church. Leshinski, James Z.* - Natick  
NATICK, Mass. — James Z. Leshinski, 76, a Kingston native, died May 1, 2016, at his home in Natick. His devoted wife of 57 years, Marilou (McGinn) Leshinski, was by his side. Son of the late Zigmund and Anne (Dervinas) Leshinski, Jim joined the U.S. Marine Corps after graduating from Kingston High School in 1957. Jim and Marilou settled in Natick after his service, and raised a large family, maintaining ties to the Kingston area through his sisters and frequent visits. He is survived by his wife; children, James F. and his wife, Debbie, of Massachusetts, Paul D. and his wife, Linda, of New Hampshire, Mark J. and Gary W., of Dover, and Dawn M. Kornhauser, of North Carolina; two sisters, Joan Konich and Anne Styczen and her husband, Lawrence, both of Kingston; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Jim was also father of the late Barbara Ann "Bonnie" and Mariann; father-in-law of the late Brian Kornhauser and Maureen Calkins; and grandfather of the late Brian. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, May 6, in St. Patrick Church, 44 E. Central St., Natick. Manganello, William David "Billy"* - Wilkes-Barre  
WILKES-BARRE — William David "Billy" Manganello, 32 years old, of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., passed away unexpectedly May 1, 2016. Billy was born in Wilkes-Barre on April 20, 1984. He graduated from E.L. Meyers High School and continued on to receive a Bachelor of Science in structural engineering from Penn State University. William worked as a project engineer for Linde Corporation for the last two years and was in the process of relocating to Virginia following his acceptance of an engineering position with Traylor Bros. Inc. Billy enjoyed cheering on his Boston Red Sox, Buffalo Bills and many other sports interests, as well as spending time with his many friends, family and companion. As a devoted son, brother, uncle, friend and longtime companion to Amanda Joseph, Billy enjoyed every minute of life and never let anything pull him down. As a symbol of courage for all, Billy persevered through two kidney transplants, spending long days in the hospital always having a smile on his face and a laugh that was contagious. He was a bright man who used his intelligence to support and guide others. He taught many to live in the moment and not to stress over little details and to love and be loyal to all. William is survived by his parents, Alice and Angelo Manganello; brothers, Angelo, Tony (Denise) and David (Jessica) Manganello; a niece and nephews, Mia, Anthony Jr. (AJ), his godchild, Vincent, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Manganello; his maternal grandparents, William and Marion Kitzmiller; and paternal grandparents, Joseph and Mary Manganello. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at the Kielty-Moran Funeral Home, 87 Washington Ave., Plymouth, with the Rev. Dr. Robert M. Zanicky, of the First Presbyterian Church, Wilkes-Barre, officiating. Interment will be in Mount Greenwood Cemetery, Trucksville. Marcini, Fred J.* - Kingston  
KINGSTON — Fred J. Marcini, 84, of Kingston, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2016, at his home. He was born March 17, 1932, in Wilkes-Barre, a son of the late Fred and Anna Marcini. He attended Coughlin High School and was an Army veteran. He was employed by Muskin Leisure Products for 40 years and retired as a foreman. A former resident of Wilkes-Barre, he was a member of the Parsons VFW, Post 6227. He was an avid fly fisherman and Penn State fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen "Patsy" (Williams) Marcini; and step-brothers, George Starrie Sr. and Leo Starrie. Surviving are his children, Fred Marcini III, of Scranton, Karen Salvatore and her husband Robert, of Luzerne, Patricia Tereska, of Hanover Township, Michele Marcini and her fiance, James McElwee, of Sheatown; grandchildren, David Salvatore, Keith Stephens, John Tereska, Nicole Bono, MaryEllen Marcini, Robert Lutecki and Kristyn Lutecki; 10 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday from E. Blake Collins Funeral Home, 159 George Ave., Wilkes-Barre. Services will be conducted by Deacon Donald Crane, St. Benedict's Parish, Wilkes-Barre.
