Ann B. "Dusty" Metzgar

TRUCKSVILLE — Ann B. "Dusty" Metzgar, 62, of Trucksville, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014, at her home, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Kingston, Ann was the daughter of the late Philip and Ann Evanitis Tondora. She was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School, class of 1969.

Ann resided in Trucksville for the past 43 years. She was a member of the former St. John Church, Luzerne.

Surviving is her husband of 43 years, Ray Metzgar, Trucksville; son, Nicholas Metzgar, Pittston; grandchildren, Takoja, Kehya and Evelyn Metzgar; sister, Susan Skidmore and her husband, David.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of family with the Rev. Dick Williams, pastor of Trucksville United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be made in Memorial Shrine Park, Carverton.

Memorial donations may be made to the Luzerne County SPCA, 524 E. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702; or to the Childhood Leukemia Foundation, Gift Processing Center, 3050 Union Lake Road, Suite #8F, Commerce Township, MI 48342.
