August M. "Augie" Sindaco

WEST WYOMING — August "Augie" M. Sindaco, 83, of West Wyoming, passed away on Sunday morning, March 9, 2014, at the Highland Manor Nursing Home, Exeter.

Born in Port Blanchard, he was a son of the late Mario and Tessie Perotti Sindaco.

Augie was a member of St. Barbara Parish at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Exeter, and a graduate of Jenkins Township High School.

He served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean War and was a charter member of the Wyoming Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 396.

Surviving are his wife of 56 years, the former Dolores Waytul; and brothers, Eugene and his wife, Theresa Sindaco, Plains Township, and Mario and his wife, Ellen Sindaco, Bear Creek Township; also numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Dr. Charles Manganiello for all his care and concern for Gus during this time.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday in St. Barbara Parish at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 28 Memorial St., Exeter, with the Rev. Dan Schwebbs as celebrant. Interment will be in Dennison Cemetery, West Wyoming. Military honors will be provided by the AMVETS Honor Guard. There will be no public calling hours.
