Bruce W. Avery

HARDING — Bruce W. Avery, 49, of Harding, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Pittston on Sept. 9, 1964, he was a son of the late Edwin and Audrey Martin Avery.

A graduate of Wyoming Area, class of 1982, he was a former maintenance mechanic at AEP Industries, Mountain Top. Bruce was also an avid Harley-Davidson enthusiast.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Leroy Richard and James John Avery.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 13 years, the former Kimberly Santucci; and children, Heather Nicole, at home, and sons, Benjamin, Tanner and Bradley and his wife, Gale. Also surviving are Bruce's sisters, Colleen Reese, Harding, and Kelly Pardini, Elizabethtown, Ky.; as well as his sister-in-law, Patricia Avery, Falls; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter. Pastor Guy Giordano, a family friend, will officiate at the services following the viewing.
