TUNKHANNOCK — David L. Howarth, 77, of Tunkhannock, died Thursday morning, June 12, 2014, at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Michele Packer Howarth.
He was born in Langhorne, on March 2, 1937, a son of the late Alexander and Rose Camillo Howarth.
He was a retired meat manger from the former A&P Supermarket; he also trained horses and showed horses, and won many ribbons and trophies. He liked digital photography, and playing his reel-to-reel music loud and occasionally singing along.
He is survived by son, David and his wife, Kristie, Michigan; one stepson, four step-daughters; and several grandchildren.
A blessing service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock. A gathering of friends and family will be held from noon until service.
