Dot Trauger, 64, of Fern Ridge Road, White Haven, passed away Saturday.
She was born in Philadelphia on Sept. 25, 1948, daughter of the late Charles and Marion (Williamson) Waters. Dot was a graduate of Cardinal O' Hara High School. She was employed by Blue Ridge Real Estate and Tunkhannock Township.
Dot was a smart, witty and funny person with a wacky personality. Her alter ego, "Dorothea White," will never be forgotten. She was truly one of a kind.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Dot was greeted on the other side by her parents, Charlie and Mickey; her second parents, Ervin and Frances; her daughter Dawn; her sister Joanny, and her good friend Wayne and his son, Kenny. And many other beautiful souls who, like Dot, have left us too soon.
Dot's memory will live on and be celebrated by those she left behind. Her daughter Dana and daughter-in-law Alicia; granddaughter, Jordan, and great-granddaughter, Layla; brothers and sisters John, Theresa, Charlie, Steven, Ervin and Pina; nieces, Lesha, Cathy and Stephanie; nephews, John, Bill and Eric; best friends, Sue, Patty and Steve, and their kids, Johnny, Camie, Doug, Mandy, Krissi, Steph and Stevie. And all the other friends she made on her journey through life.
Arrangements were made by the George A. Strish Inc. Funeral Home, 105 N. Main St., Ashley.
In lieu of formal services, Dot's family ask that you spend time with your own loved ones, laughing and toasting her memory. And also to tell this joke anytime your hands are wet: "Knock, knock." "Who's there?" "John." "John who?" (flick water) "John the Baptist!"
