ALLENTOWN — Elizabeth M. Huck, 86, formerly of Walnut Street, Forty Fort, died on Monday, April 14, 2014, at Country Meadows in Allentown.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Pearl Guth Petrillo. She graduated from New York City School.
Betty had resided at Country Meadows in Allentown for the past six years. Previously she had resided on Walnut Street, Forty Fort, for many years. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Swoyersville. She was a member of the Holy Name/St. Mary's Altar and Rosary Society.
Betty was a loving mother and grandmother and an avid bridge player. She volunteered at and loved the Holy Name of Jesus and St. Mary's church bazaars.
Her husband, Richard T. Huck, died in 1988. They were married 41 years.
Surviving are her sons, Richard B. Huck and his wife, Teresa, Schnecksville; William T. Huck and his wife, Margaret, Northampton, and their children (grandchildren) Brianna and Hailey; grandchildren, Ashley, Amanda, Abbey, and her great-grandchild, Brooke, and their mother, Linda; sister, Marcella Paoline, Kenilworth, N.J.
Funeral at 10:30 a.m. Monday from the Hugh B. Hughes & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1044 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Swoyersville, with the Rev. Joseph Pisaneschi officiating. The interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton, directly after Mass. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to service on Monday at the funeral home.
