Marguerite Jakubowski

Marguerite Jakubowski, 77, of Plymouth, died Tuesday morning, Jan. 1. 2013, at home.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Allen and Catherine Randall Ayers. She went to GAR High School.

Marguerite was employed as a caregiver most recently by Comfort Keepers and was a member of Kingston Seventh-Day Adventist Church, and Slocum Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Marguerite was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by husband, Robert K. Jakubowski, and brothers, George, Allen, Joseph, Chester and Henry Ayers.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl Show and her husband, Brian, Beltsville, Md.; Jean Jakubowski, Wilkes-Barre; Robert and his wife, Tina, Wilkes-Barre; John and his wife, Kim, California; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Karen Spielman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at 3 p.m. at the Lehman Family Funeral Service, 689 Hazle Ave., Wilkes-Barre, with the Rev. Robert D. Fisher officiating.

Private interment will be held in Albert Cemetery, Mountain Top. Friends are invited to call today from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
