YORK — Mark Mulcahy, 54, of York, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013.
Mark was born in Scranton on Aug. 7, 1959, to Dorothy and Lenny Mulcahy. He graduated from GAR High School and received a bachelor's degree from King's College.
Mark was a devoted husband to his wife, Missy Mulcahy, whom he married in 1984. They celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary last week.
Mark and Missy lived in Morgantown, Pa., for seven years before relocating to York. Mark was a relationship manager in sales at Dun and Bradstreet for 31 years and was highly respected by his fellow workers.
He was passionate about loving and caring for his daughters. Mark loved taking Gracie for walks, rooting for the Pittsburgh Pirates and being outside. Mark was a devout Catholic and a selfless person. He will always be remembered as the most caring and loving husband, father, brother, son and friend.
In addition to his wife, Mark is survived by daughters, Amanda and Shannon; father, Lenny; and sister, Molly.
A viewing will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, Pa. A funeral liturgy will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 315 N. Constitution Ave., New Freedom. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.
