Mary Lou Pisano

WYOMING — Mary Lou Pisano, 76, of Wyoming, passed away Friday, March 14, 2014, at home.

Born in Exeter, she was a daughter of the late William and Lucy Motta Pace.

She was a graduate of Wyoming High School, class of 1955, and an active member of St. Barbara Parish at St. Anthony of Padua Church.

Mary Lou was a Wyoming Area School District Board Member for six years where she served as secretary of the board.

She was also the West Side Area Vocational Technical School representative.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Michael Jordan; her parents; and her brothers, William and Daniel Pace.

Surviving are her husband, Frank Pisano; her four sons, Joseph Jordan and his wife, Ann Marie, Bluffton, S.C., Denny Jordan and his wife, Julie, Sommerville, S.C., Michael and his wife, Tracey, Daleville, Ala., Gary and his wife, Judy, Cranberry Township, Pa.; two daughters, Doreen Zezza and her husband, Jerry, Exeter, and Franceen Carabetta and her husband, Jason, Pittston; grandchildren, Joseph Jordan, Kevin Jordan, Lindsey Jordan, Lauren Jordan, Bryan Jordan, Trevor Jordan, Mikkie Jordan, Mitchell Jordan, Sonja Jordan, Robert Jordan, Gary Jordan, Cory Jordan, Jordan Zezza, Jeremy Zezza, Aaron Zezza, Luchia Carabetta, Alena Carabetta and Matteo Carabetta; great-grandchildren, Audrey, Alexis, Alyssa, Jake and Lyla; sister, Doreen Pavinski, West Wyoming; sister-in-law, Patricia Pace, Plains Township; and several other nieces and nephews.

The family thanks Dr. Joseph Campanella, Dr. Joseph Radzwilka and Hospice of the Sacred Heart for their excellent and compassionate care. The family extends their gratitude to all her wonderful caregivers and to Trudi Malecki for her devotion and love of Mary Lou.

The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday from the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home, 509 Wyoming Ave., West Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church, St. Barbara Parish, Exeter. Friends may call 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
