Mary Sinavage

Mrs. Mary Sinavage, a lifelong resident of the Heights section of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2012, at St. Luke's Villa, Wilkes-Barre.

Born May 16, 1922, in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Nickolas and Anna Klem Petrock. Mary was a devoted homemaker who loved cooking and caring for her family and her pets.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Chester, on July 2, 1999; sister, Olga Feistl; and brother, George Petrock.

Surviving are her sons, Thomas, of Wilkes-Barre, John and his wife, Phyllis, of Wilkes-Barre; sister, Anna Wybolt of Hillside, N.J.; and niece, Nancy Wybolt.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, 21 N. Meade St., Wilkes-Barre, with Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m. in St. Vladimir Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Zerbey Avenue, Kingston. The Rev. Paul Wolensky, Pastor, will be officiating. Interment will be in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Plymouth. Family and friends may call Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. with Parastas services at 6:30 p.m.
