DALLAS — Robert W. Kirner, 88, formerly of Nanticoke, passed away March 6, 2014, at the Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas.
Born in Jersey City, N.J., he was a son of the late Edward and Catherine Matthews Kirner.
He was employed for many years as an accident investigator for the trucking industry.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, the former Bernice Stawasz, and neices and nephews.
A memorial Mass will be held at noon on Thursday in the main site of St. Faustina's Parish, 520 S. Hanover St., Nanticoke. Final interment will be private for the family. Friends may pay their respects from 11:30 to Mass at the church.
Arrangements are in care of the Stanley S. Stegura Funeral Home Inc., 614 S. Hanover St., Nanticoke.
