COURTDALE — Sandra F. Pellam, 64, of Center Street, Courtdale, died on Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, at her home, surrounded by her family.
She was a daughter of the late Earl and Elizabeth Wildes McDermott. She attended Meyers High School.
Sandra had resided in Courtdale for most of her life. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Bennett Presbyterian Church.
Preceding her in death were her sisters, Ellen Vincent and Nancy Monahan.
Surviving are her husband, Robert "Dutch" Pellam Sr., to whom she was married 44 years; daughters, Tammy Finney, Courtdale, Lisa Hodgson, Hunlock Creek; sons, Robert Pellam Jr., Larksville, and Duane Pellam, Plains Township; sisters, Elizabeth Jacobs, Factoryville, and Carol Smith, Dallas; brothers, Billy McDermott, Tunkhannock, Earl McDermott, Hereford, and Thomas McDermott, Hallstead; two grandsons; nine granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Monday from the Hugh B. Hughes & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1044 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, with a church service at 11 a.m. in Bennett Presbyterian Church, Luzerne. Her pastor, the Rev. James Quinn, will officiate. Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. Friends may call 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday and 9:30 a.m. to services Monday at the funeral home.
