Sharon Bushelli Obituary

Sharon Bushelli, 52, of Voorhees, N.J., peacefully went home to be with the Lord on April 8, 2013.

She was the devoted wife of Scott Bushelli, loving daughter of Raymond and Clara, mother to Jamie, stepmother to Daniel and Kerri, and grandmother to eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Sharon was a member of the St. Thomas More Parish. She was employed at the University of Medicine and Dentistry, where she had many close friends who prayed and walked with her on this journey.

She was on active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps for seven years, leaving the service as a captain of Marines.

Sharon traveled extensively with her travel buddies and did all manner of adventures to expand her knowledge of the world and its different cultures and people.

Sharon lived her life by one motto: "If it's worth doing – it's worth over doing." She would not want anyone to grieve her passing. She was full of life on each day we were blessed with her presence, and it was an honor to call her wife, mother and best friend. No words can express the extent to which she will be missed.

There will be a viewing from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday and 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 and Evesham Road, Marlton, N.J. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to any organization which supports the early detection, treatment and search for a cure of triple-negative breast cancer.

Sharon lived behind us when we were growing up. She was always a sincerely nice person, even as a child. She really was one of the kindest people I ever new. We crossed paths through the years after high school mostly at Mark Bieski's house and she hadn't changed. It was sad when her dad died young and now her. Heaven is lucky to have their new addition. Sharon you were and are loved. See you someday again.

Went to school with Sharon and so sorry to hear this news on Facebook. I remember her smile and her kindness - from the sixth grade through graduation. Even as a young girl Sharon was a class act. Im sorry I never got to know her as an adult. Oh, the stories we could share with each other of our travels on life's highways since school had we the time to really reconnect. Heaven has a new angel. Peace, Sharon, and warm wishes of love and comfort to her friends and family.

I had a pleasure and previledge of having known Sharon as a collegue and a dear friend. We shared the joy of travel and often exchanged stories and experiences of our respective travel adventures. Sharon will be remembered as someone who lived her life to the fullest, looked at challenges as opportunities and dealt with difficulties head on with a smile on her face. My heart goes out to Scott and the family and would like to extend best wishes to ease their pain and send my prayers for everlasting peace for Sharon's kind and generous soul.

I was fortunate to have had the pleasure of working with Sharon at UMDNJ for the past several years. Through these interactions we became friends sharing stories and experiences from our respective travel adventures. Sharon had an extremely otimistic outlook on life and always dealt with each challenge as an opportunity. Even after her diagnosis and the subsequent highs and lows as she battled her disease, she always maintained a positive outlook and remained just as engaged in caring about others. I will miss Sharon as a collegue as well as a dear friend and be always reminded of what a great person she was. I pray for the eternal peace of her soul.

I personally had the pleasure of working with Sharon at UMDNJ for nearly 20 years. It was then we became close friends and grew to adore her and love her as a sister. She was full of so much life which was difficult when she was diagnosed. It will be hard for Scott, her husband, family and friends now that she's gone. However, her spirit will always be with us. She knew she was loved because she gave it so freely without asking for anything in return. We love you Sharon. Blessings, Linda
