Shawn Dowd Obituary
Shawn Michael Dowd, of Lake Winola, died at Lake Winola on Friday, April 2, 2010. He was born in Tunkhannock, on May 25, 1980, a son of Michelle Jette of Lake Winola and Casey Dowd of Scranton. He was a 1998 graduate of Tunkhannock High School and was employed by Winola Industries in Lake Winola. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Marlene and Alvin Rolletscheck; maternal grandfather Arthur Jette; and paternal grandparents, Robert and Shirley Dowd; and cousins, Nicholas Jette, Christopher Ward and Thomas Burggerman. Surviving are a brother, Casey Dowd, of Falls; sisters, Laura and Amber Paulton and Sabrina Dowd, all of Scranton; as well as a cousin, Richard Clark, of Dalton. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Lake Winola. Michelle, Casey, and big Casey, My heart goes out to all of you. Shawn will live forever in our thoughts and hearts. I will always keep fond memories of him to share with others.
