TRUMBULL, Conn. — Albert Sivahop, 75, of Trumbull, Conn., beloved husband of Lois Kosik Sivahop, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, Conn.
Mr. Sivahop, a retired design engineer for Sikorsky Aircraft, was born in Wilkes Barre to the late John and Mary (Marko) Sivahop. He was a graduate of Temple University, CREI, the University of New Haven and the University of Connecticut, and he attended New York University.
Albert was a firm believer in education and that one should learn something new each day.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include his brother, Thomas, and two sisters, Lorraine Rosencrans and her husband, Grant, and Margaret Solt, all of Pennsylvania; his brother-in-law, Joseph Kosik; sisters-in-law, Mary, Susan and her husband, Joseph; Helen and her husband, Leonard; Judy and her husband, Dave; Nancy and her husband, Eric; and several nieces and nephews.
A Divine Liturgy with Office of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church, Nichols, Conn. Interment will be in Nichols Village Cemetery. At the family's request, calling hours have been omitted.
