EDWARDSVILLE — Anthony J. Zigmont, 79, of Edwardsville, died Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born in Pittston, the son of the late Anthony Zigmont and Lillian Romanczuk Zigmont Castellino. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Tobyhanna Army Depot in 2000 after 39 years of government service. He was a Production Controller. After retirement, he drove school buses for 10 years.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Valerie Davis.

Tony is survived by his wife, the former Marianne Putera; son Anthony and his wife, Kristen Zigmont, of Franklin Township; daughter Amy and her husband, Andre Bermudez, of Breinigsville; grandson Grayson Bermudez; sister Carol and her husband, Robert Levandoski, of Dupont; nephew Steven Levandoski; and aunts, uncles, cousins and many other nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday from the Kopicki Funeral Home, 263 Zerby Ave., Kingston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Ignatius Church. Interment will be in the Ss. Cyril and Methodius Cemetery, Pringle.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
