Mr. Anthony James Ungvarsky, 39, of the East End section of the city, passed into Eternal Life unexpectedly Sunday afternoon at his residence.
Born March 14, 1974, in Wilkes-Barre, he was the youngest of four sons to Mr. Carl and Mrs. Dorothy (Quater) Ungvarsky of Mountain Top.
Educated in the city schools, he was a member of the 1992 graduating class of the James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre. Anthony worked locally as a tradesman in the construction industry for several area companies.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, Carl and Dorothy, are his brothers, Matthew Ungvarsky and his wife, Marjon, of Sugarloaf; Carl and Carol Ungvarsky, and John Ungvarsky, all of Mountain Top; nieces and nephews, Lauren, Johnny, Autumn and Ronald; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted with a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Jude Roman Catholic Church, 420 S. Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top, with the Rev. Joseph J. Evanko, pastor, officiating. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends are asked to go directly to church Wednesday for services as there will be no public calling hours.
In lieu of floral tributes, memorial contributions in Anthony's name, if desired, may be made to St. Jude Parish Building Fund, 420 S. Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top, PA 18707.
