WILKES-BARRE — Bernadine Gabrysh Zaikoski, 78, formerly of West Maple Street, Wilkes-Barre, died Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born Oct. 22, 1935, in Ashley, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Julia Gabrysh.
Bernadine was a graduate of Ashley High School and dedicated most of her life to the care of her family.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Leonard J. Zaikoski; son, Leonard P., and his wife, Regina, and their son, Alex Zaikoski, Harrisburg; sisters, Ann Rice, Eleanor Vehosky, Patricia Monte and Dolly Sikora; brother, Thomas Gabrysh; nieces, nephews; other family and friends.
Celebration of Bernadine's Life will begin with visitation at 9 a.m. Monday at Saint Luke's Villa, 80 E. Northampton St., Wilkes-Barre, with funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Saint Mary's Cemetery in Hanover Township.
