WILKES-BARRE — Caroline (Carol) M. Czopek, of Wilkes-Barre, went into the hands of the Lord on Monday, Aug. 6, 2018.

Born in Plymouth, she was the daughter of Frank and Mary (Wojtowicz) Jamrowski and attended Plymouth schools.

Carol's interests were varied. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching sports. She followed professional hockey and football. She also was very interested in flowers, birds and politics, as well as trips to the casino and times on Long Beach Island, N.J., with her family. She enjoyed seeing Donald Trump become president and the Philadelphia Eagles win their first Super Bowl.

Carol married the love of her life, Al, on Feb. 7, 1948. What started out as a roller skating event became 70 years of love and devotion. Carol and Al were always known as "Cioci Carol and Uncle Al" to all the family members. Al passed away just 14 days prior to her and they were separated for the first time in 70 years. Carol is now in heaven with Al and they are once again together as "Cioci Carol and Uncle Al."

She is preceded in death by her husband, Al; sister Mary Czopek; and brother Frank Jamrowski.

Surviving are sister Bernardine Borinski; and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2018, from Kielty-Moran Funeral Home Inc., 87 Washington Ave., Plymouth. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. in All Saints Parish, Willow Street, Plymouth. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Plymouth Township.
