Daniel G. Davison, 49, of West Market Street, Kingston, died unexpectedly on Monday at his residence.
He was born in Kingston, on Dec. 8, 1963, the son of the late William and Geraldine (Wolfe) Davison. Dan was a lifetime resident of Luzerne County, where he graduated from the Wyoming Valley West High School, class of 1982. He was employed by Rex Shoe Co., Exeter, and most recently by Trion Industries, Wilkes Barre, as a materials handler. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1982-85. Daniel's favorite sport was wrestling and he was very fond of Ricci's Pizza, Wilkes Barre.
His many friends will always remember Daniel's smile and pleasant greetings to them.
Preceding him in death were brothers, William and Matthew Davison; and sister, Carol Leake.
Surviving are son, Daniel G. Davison and his mother, Karen Debold, Wilkes Barre; sister-in-law, Debbie Davison; special niece, Amy Ellard; other nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Memorial funeral services will be held at 7:45 p.m. Sunday at the George A. Strish Inc. Funeral Home, 105 N. Main St., Ashley, with the Rev. Carol Coleman, pastor of Luzerne United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. or until the time of service.
