Deborah R. Muller, 60, a resident of Swoyersville, passed away peacefully on Christmas Day, Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, at her residence, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on Jan. 29, 1952 in Swoyersville, Debbie was a daughter of the late John Dzurek Sr. and Rita (Boback) Dzurek.
Raised in Swoyersville, Debbie was a graduate of West Side Area Vo-Tech School, Pringle.
A homemaker most of her life, Debbie took great pride in tending to the daily needs of her home and family. In her earlier years, Debbie was employed by the former United Pants Factory, Swoyersville.
Debbie was an active member of First Assembly of God Church, Wilkes-Barre. True to her faith, she was an avid Bible reader.
Family was the most important thing to Debbie, and she treasured every moment she had with her loved ones. Her presence will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Debbie is survived by her children, Sgt. Joshua Muller, who is a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard and currently serving in Kuwait; Jessica Muller of Swoyersville, Jeremy Muller of Swoyersville; her grandchildren, Evan, Colin, Isabella, Jeremy Jr., Jaxson, Julie, Ella; her brothers, John Dzurek Jr. of Swoyersville, Gerald Dzurek of California and David Dzurek of Swoyersville; her nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral which will be conducted on Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Wroblewski Funeral Home Inc., 1442 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, with the Rev. James Quinn, pastor of Bennett Presbyterian Church, Luzerne, officiating. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
