Dolores Eileen Saba, R.N., of Sterling Avenue, Dallas, passed away Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

She was born Nov. 13, 1933, in Wilkes-Barre and was the daughter of the late Helen Mushinski Curran. Dolores was a 1951 graduate of GAR Memorial High School, Wilkes-Barre. She was a registered nurse and graduated from the Wyoming Valley Hospital School of Nursing.
She worked as an operating room nurse at the former Wyoming Valley Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. Prior to retiring in 2001, she worked at her family business, the White House Diner, Welles Street, Forty Fort, where she was owner-operator with her husband, John.
She was a member of the American Nurses Association.
She and her husband celebrated 57 years of marriage on Nov. 12, 2012.
She is survived by her husband, John W. Saba Sr.; sons, Blake Saba Jr., John Saba Jr. and Scott Saba; daughters, Lori Monk and Kelly Alles; grandchildren, Jonathan Saba and his wife, Erin; Blake Saba Jr.; Lindsey Monk, Courtney Monk and Chloe Alles; sister, Rita Ault, Williamsport; brother, William Mushinski, Wilkes-Barre.
The funeral will be held at the convenience of the family.
