On Jan. 4 of 2013, Dorothy Bevan of Plymouth joined her childhood sweetheart and lifetime partner in love and marriage after being separated for just over three years. They have been reunited once again in heaven for their eternal life together.
She was a graduate of Plymouth High School. Dorothy was a member of the Franklin Street Primitive Methodist Church. She was formerly employed by The Boston Store and Boscov's until retiring.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Bevan Sr.; son, Alfred Bevan Jr.; daughter Lucinda Jan; brother Harold Raub, and sister, Betty Steinbrenner.
Leaving behind daughters Cheryl Shonk and Allysan Edwards; grandchildren, George, Randy and Lori Shonk; James Fedor, Brandy Bevan, Alfred Bevan; great-grandchildren, Michaela Shonk, Kaylee Shonk, Allison Kraynak, Aidan Fedor and Laycie Mazur, and her brother Jack Raub.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. from Williams-Hagen Funeral Home Inc., 114 W. Main St., Plymouth, with the Rev David Wildoner officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Franklin Street Primitive Methodist Church.
