Elva Marie Krajewski, of Smith Health Care Center, Mountain Top, and formerly of Spring Street, Newtown section of Hanover Township, died Thursday morning, March 7, 2013, at hospice in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Smith Mills, Pa., a daughter of the late Anthony and Giovanna DeFalco Pisano, she was educated in the Hanover Township School District. She was a former member of the former Holy Rosary Church, Wilkes-Barre.
Elva was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Krajewiski; brothers, Louis, Carmen, Joseph, John and Anthony Pisano; and sister, Sue Zampetti.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Irene Pisano, Swoyersville; niece, Lindi Hoeppner and her husband, Jerry; nephews, John and his wife, Barbara Pisano, Joseph Pisano and his wife, Patricia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Monday, at 9 a.m. from the Lehman Family Funeral Service Inc., 689 Hazle Ave., Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Leo's/Holy Rosary Parrish, 33 Manhattan St., Ashley. The Rev. Thomas J. O'Malley will officiate. Friends are invited to call Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. or Monday from 8:30 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
