Grace Schult Busby, 89, of Mountain Top, passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, in Smith Health Care, Mountain Top.
She was born in Secaucus, N.J., daughter of the late Robert and Mabel Bean Coats. She was educated in the Hudson Valley schools and worked with Borden Metal Products as a secretary for many years.
Grace enjoyed life and was always ready for an adventure. Many days she loaded her grandchildren in the car and told them they were going to get lost. She would take them for long rides and always find and feed her friends, the deer, along the way. Anyone who knew her would hear her singing, "A bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck."
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, her brothers, and a son.
She is survived by a son, Henry Schult, West Virginia; daughter, Grace Bomba, Florida; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren
A celebration of Grace's life will be held tonight at 7 p.m. from the Daniel J Hughes Funeral & Cremation Service, 617 Carey Ave., Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Linden, N.J. Friends may call this evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
